These 99.99% bullion cast bars are stamped with The Perth Mint’s London Bullion Market Association registered mark, a symbol of international tradability.
Updated design
As of May 2023, the 1 kilo silver cast bar will feature as re-styled identification stamp. To increase visibility of the brand, the Mint’s Swan logo has been significantly increased in size. For additional clarity, the bar’s weight and purity are stated in larger letters which now read ‘1 KILO FINE SILVER 9999’.
Presentation
The 1 kilo silver cast bars can be purchased individually and are also available in securely fastened monster boxes of 10 bars per box.
Silver bars are traditionally the most popular forms of precious metal purchases made by investors. This solid 1kg generic cast bar is an excellent choice for those seeking divisibility within their bullion holding. Silver bars range in size from 5 oz through to 5 kg depending on your budget, so it is easy to begin building your precious metal investment.
The price of Silver, like many other commodities, tends to be driven by a combination of supply and demand metrics as well as speculation. Whilst the price of Silver is well known for being more volatile than Gold due to its smaller market size, lower market liquidity as well as ever-changing supply and demand from the industrial sector and its properties as a store of value over long periods of time.
Silver is well regarded as a safe-haven asset for investors during times of economic upheaval, uncertainty and financial stress. The market conditions applicable to Silver, are much like that for Gold, and tend to be driven by monetary policy, the value of the US dollar, geopolitical concerns, physical demand as well as the available supply from mining production.
