About This Product▾
The Australian Lunar Series is The Perth Mint’s longest-running and most collected coin program, inspired by the Chinese zodiac and trusted by investors worldwide since 1996. The 2027 Year of the Goat reverse portrays a majestic goat standing proudly on a mountain plain, with rugged terrain and a solitary tree visible in the distance, accompanied by the Chinese character for ‘Goat’, the inscription ‘GOAT 2027’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The obverse features the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, together with the coin’s weight, purity and monetary denomination. Each coin is struck from 99.95% pure platinum, issued as Australian legal tender, and incorporates an authentication feature for added security. With a mintage capped at 5,000, the platinum Goat is one of the scarcest releases in the Lunar Series III bullion range.
